Mae NoFit State Circus yn falch o gael ymuno â chynllun y Blodyn Haul Anableddau Cudd, er mwyn cefnogi pobl sy’n byw gydag anabledd anweledig a chodi ymwybyddiaeth o anableddau anweledig.
Mae cynllun y Blodyn Haul Anableddau Cudd yn cefnogi pobl sydd ag anableddau nad ydynt yn amlwg yn syth i bobl eraill. Mae llawer o bobl sydd ag anabledd yn defnyddio rhywbeth – cadair olwyn, ci tywys, teclyn cymorth clyw neu ffon wen – sy’n dangos i chi ar unwaith beth yw eu hanabledd. Ond nid yw anableddau eraill, fel awtistiaeth, dementia, problemau iechyd meddwl neu anawsterau dysgu, mor amlwg. Gyda chynllun y Blodyn Haul Anableddau Cudd, gall pobl sydd ag anableddau anweledig ddewis gwisgo laniard â logo’r Blodyn Haul fel ffordd gynnil o roi gwybod i bobl eraill y gall fod angen cymorth, cefnogaeth neu ragor o amser arnynt.
Rydym yn croesawu pobl sy’n gwisgo’r Blodyn Haul Anableddau Cudd i’n man hyfforddi, i’n gwaith yn y gymuned ac i berfformiadau yn y Big Top, yn wir, unrhyw le y gallech ddod i gysylltiad â ni. Felly gall pobl sy’n gwisgo’r Blodyn Haul gael mwy o gymorth gan ein staff pan fyddant yn ymweld.
“We strive to make our spaces welcoming and accessible to everybody and if the Sunflower can help us give that little bit extra care or attention where it is needed to give someone a better experience, then we are delighted to participate.
Circus can be joyful and uplifting, yet poignant and poetic, and is enjoyed by so many different people of all ages. We see circus as the most accessible art form and we are dedicated to making it even more so.”
Tom Rack, Artistic Director, NoFit State Circus
“NoFit State Circus are the first circus to join the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower and we couldn’t be more delighted. The projects they offer and their ethos around inclusivity really chime with the Sunflower’s values. Whether you're going to a Big Top performance or joining in with a workshop, they will ensure that a fantastic time is had by all.”
Paul White, CEO, Hidden Disabilities Sunflower
Rydym yn trefnu bod gennym laniards, pinnau, bathodynnau a breichledi Blodyn Haul ar gyfer cwsmeriaid a chydweithwyr sydd ag anableddau anweledig. Byddant ar y cownter pan ddewch i ganolfan hyfforddi’r syrcas yn Four Elms neu i babell y Big Top. Gofynnwch os hoffech gael un. Rydym hefyd wedi hyfforddi ein staff er mwyn eu helpu i ddeall yn well sut i gefnogi cwsmeriaid sydd ag anableddau anweledig a bydd yn bleser ganddynt eich helpu ar eich ymweliad os dymunwch.
“This is such a great scheme to help raise awareness around invisible disabilities and to help our work meet the needs of a wider range of people. Invisible disabilities are more common than we might realise, and it’s important that everybody is made to feel welcome and that they will be listened to.
Increasing access to participation helps to democratise the arts – as well as allowing more people to enjoy the benefits it can provide for their well-being, life skills, self-knowledge, and personal development.
Better accessibility is also important because diversity in all areas of the arts drives innovation, creativity and the creation of meaningful work. By striving for broader representation, we can develop our understanding of both each other and the world around us, and begin to use this knowledge to challenge the status quo.”
Kate Parry, Rheolwr y Rhaglen Gymunedol, NoFit State Circus
Trwy ymuno â chynllun y Blodyn Haul Anableddau Cudd, rydym yn gobeithio sicrhau bod ymweliad pawb â’r syrcas mor groesawus, mor braf ac mor ddi-straen ag y bo modd.
