Four Elms opens as a Warm Space

Community |

Things are tough at the moment, with the increasing cost of living and especially of heating a home, so this January we have started opening our building as a Warm Space for the local community, every Tuesday from 10am – 5.30pm.

You’ll find a warm welcoming space with activities as well as a quiet room, depending on what you need. There are circus activities, crafts, food, showers, space to work and a place to get warm and find support. Our lovely community team will be around all day to help with any questions you might have and tell you about the activities that day.

What to expect at the average Tuesday Warm Space:

  • 3.30–5.30pm – Arts and crafts for kids from with local artist Flow Maugran
  • 12.30pm – 2.30pm – Circus activities for kids and adults
  • 1pm – 2pm – Lunch provided

Facilities:

  • We have 2 hot showers (one of which is wheelchair friendly) and clean towels available
  • There is a microwave and hot drinks available for you at any time
  • There are tables, chairs, places to charge your electronics and free wifi
  • There is a large soft floor mat in our main space, making it the perfect safe space to get active and try some circus for people of any age

What people say about our Warm Space:

It's so warm and cosy

We love it here, it’s such a safe space for my children

We enjoyed the previous sessions with Clifton Street Party, so we were happy to come back

There’s no need to book, just drop-in any Tuesday in January, February or March between 10am – 5.30pm.
