narrative as seduction with firenza guidi

Transitions |

UPDATE: We are very sorry but this session is now postponed.

Join award winning artist and circus director Firenza Guidi to explore the idea that the way a performer inhabits a space and enters a negotiation with the spectator's gaze is where narrative begins. This is the first seduction.

Date: Tuesday 14th April

Time: 10 - 4pm

Location: NoFit State Big Top Tent, Cardiff Bay

This masterclass will explore:

What is presence? What constitutes presence? Does presence change according to time, space and different kinds of techniques? What is the difference between presence and technique and how does one or the other enhance narrative?

Participants will have a chance to:

- Explore your own personal stage
- Understand the interchange between presence, audience and narrative
- Gain insight into a creative process

Who will be teaching the project?
