NoFit State’s extraordinary new production SABOTAGE will be performing at the Recreation Ground on Mumbles Road in Swansea from 7 – 16 April, finishing as part of The Circus Village Festival from 13 – 16 April.
The 4-day Circus Village Festival will showcase contemporary circus from across the UK all developed during creative exploration and rehearsal periods at The Circus Village in Swansea this spring. The Circus Village will bring circus artists from across Wales, Scotland, and England together in a collaborative month-long programme of professional development and creative learning.
SABOTAGE is a critically acclaimed production that wowed audiences throughout its 2022 tour. NoFit State are performing in only one Welsh city before travelling to England and mainland Europe for the rest of the tour. This is your only chance to catch SABOTAGE at home in Wales this year.
SABOTAGE is an exceptional large scale circus spectacular, with a darker, grittier edge. SABOTAGE explores the journeys we take; the struggles and privileges that shape our lives. It explores the different paths we travel to reach where we are today, and how those different journeys bring us together in the meeting place of the circus tent, to celebrate our common ground. Enjoy the true power of live performance with an extraordinary live band at the heart of the show.
As part of The Circus Village Festival, and performing alongside SABOTAGE, is The Wing Scuffle Spectacular by The Revel Puck Circus, a young, dynamic company, who strive to see and do circus differently. The Wing Scuffle Spectacular is a celebration of fear, a joyous, absurd flirtation with that which we cannot avoid. Rejoicing in both our ability to confront fear, and our ability to face it with ridicule. The show is suitable for all ages, and is a hit with younger circus fans.
