Following the relaunch of the popular Transitions fund, we are excited to announce the next six successful Micro Fund applicants for year two.
Ellie Pilott and Debbie Syrop - to work together to create an all-new circus performance based around engaging audiences with STEM subjects.
Lee Tinnion - to receive vocal coaching for the spoken word element of his act.
Bunmi Odumosu - to complete a training course aimed at improving her aerial teaching skills.
Nat Whittingham - to work with musician Simon Abel as part of an ongoing R&D for a new show
Eric McGill – to purchase an e-book to help develop his aerial techniques.
The Micro Fund is part of the Transitions project, a professional development programme, run by NoFit State Circus and funded by the Arts Council of Wales.
The fund aims to offer access to small amounts of money to cover the direct costs of professional development that other larger funds are unable to support. It has been designed to be fast and easy to apply to and is open to any circus professional with strong links to Wales.
