With our Transitions project on hold, we take a look back at the first year of this exciting circus development programme for Welsh circus professionals, young artists and teachers, with a new video documenting the project.
We’ve missed being able to give all the great masterclasses and practical skills sessions we had planned for year two of the Transitions project, but after the coronavirus lockdown we had to stop all practical sessions for the project. In the meantime, we’ve been doing all we can to support Welsh circus professionals by providing targeted support through the project’s Micro Fund awards. This has allowed us to provide vital support to artists and freelance creatives as they develop new ways to become more resilient, such as exploring how to deliver work remotely, embarking on R&D while in isolation, or online learning.
At a time when we are still unsure how or when the Transitions project will be able to fully begin again it’s wonderful to be able to look back at all the great activities from the first year. We hope you enjoy it too!
